Aus-Rotten Skull Logo Patch
Aus-Rotten Skull Logo Patch
"Amazing place to get patches. Fast shipping, and a really cool selection."
- Jacob J.
Description
Aus-Rotten's scratched logo hangs over a cracked skull inside a circular symbol on this black-and-white cloth patch, with anarchist markings worked into the design. The rough print looks like it came straight off a photocopied benefit-show flyer, which is exactly where this band belongs. Aus-Rotten came out of Pittsburgh in the early '90s, mixing hardcore punk and crust with openly anarchist politics. Their 1996 LP "The System Works for Them" became a defining release, spreading through the DIY punk network long before social media made finding angry bands considerably easier. The skull graphic keeps that same confrontational aesthetic intact: stark, cheap-looking on purpose, and not remotely interested in behaving itself.
