Description

A distressed white SAMHAIN logo dominates the front of this black shirt, with the band's horned skull emblem cutting through the lettering. Beneath it sit three stark, shadow-heavy figures rendered in black and white, while the words 'SEASON OF THE DEAD' run across the bottom. The worn-in, photocopied look suits Samhain's artwork without trying to clean it up. This is a horror-soaked band graphic rather than a straight album-cover reproduction. Glenn Danzig formed Samhain after the Misfits split in 1983, taking his sound further into deathrock, gothic atmosphere and darker, heavier territory. It is the kind of shirt that does not need bright colors to make its point. Just black, white and plenty of unpleasant imagery.
