About the band

Mechanical Animals is the third studio album by rock artist Marilyn Manson, released in 1998. Marking a stylistic shift from the darker, industrial sound of his earlier work, the album blends glam rock, industrial, and electronic influences. Inspired by artists like David Bowie, Mechanical Animals features a more melodic and theatrical approach, with Manson portraying an androgynous alien persona named Omega.
